Become a Mercury Certified Expert.
Some teams want a tool. Some want the person who has run it for twenty clients. If you build and run LinkedIn outreach for others, certification puts your name in front of the second kind — and pays you for every workspace you bring.
A badge, a listing, the referrals — and a share of the revenue.
We get asked, on nearly every demo, whether someone can just set it up. Certified Experts are who we say yes with. When a prospect wants hands-on help with an audience, a journey or a whole client program, we send them to an expert who has proven they can run Mercury well.
- Referrals from demos and support — teams that ask for implementation help are introduced to certified experts first.
- A public listing on this site, with your specialism and the industries you know, once certified.
- The Certified Expert badge for your LinkedIn profile, your site and your proposals.
- Affiliate commission on every workspace you open for a client — the same 25% for twelve months as the affiliate program.
- A direct line to the people who build Mercury, and early access to what is being built next.
Mercury Certified Expert
Awarded to the person who designed, launched and reported a live outreach program on Mercury for at least one client.
- Listed at mformercury.com/experts
- Introduced to teams asking for hands-on help
- 25% commission on workspaces you bring
Four steps. The third one is the real test.
Certification is not a quiz. It is proof that you have run the whole loop for someone else — the audience, the journey, the safety settings, the report — and can explain why you set it up the way you did.
Apply
Tell us who you run outreach for and how. You need a Mercury workspace of your own or a client's; if you have neither yet, start with a plan or a demo.
Train
A working session with the Mercury team on senders and limits, audiences and AI columns, journeys, the inbox and the Executive Report — on your real client setup.
Prove it
Run a live journey for a client end to end, then walk us through it: the audience you built, the pacing you chose, what the report says and what you changed because of it.
Get certified
Badge, listing, the referral queue and your affiliate code. Certification is reviewed every twelve months against the work you have shipped since.
People who run outreach for a living.
Lead-generation agencies
You already run client workspaces. Certification turns the agency page's promise — a portal, a shared report, per-client isolation — into something a prospect can verify by your badge.
- Run three or more client workspaces
- Get listed with the industries you serve
Fractional and freelance operators
The fractional head of sales, the outbound consultant, the RevOps freelancer. You set Mercury up, hand it over, and get paid twice — by the client and by the commission.
- Bring your own workspace or the client's
- Hand-over playbooks count as shipped work
Trainers and course builders
You teach outbound. A certified trainer can run Mercury cohorts, and students who buy under your code earn you commission for a year.
- One live cohort program qualifies
- Co-marketing with the Mercury team

Every name here has designed, launched and reported a live outreach program on Mercury for a client, and walked us through it.
Before you apply
Does certification cost anything?
No. You need a Mercury workspace to be assessed on — yours or a client's, on any paid plan — and that is the only cost. The training session, the assessment and the listing are free.
How long does it take?
Most people are certified within a month: one training session, a live journey that has run long enough to have replies and a report worth reading, and a walkthrough call. If your client program is already running, it is faster.
What do referred teams expect from a Certified Expert?
Setup and a handover, usually: senders and limits, the first audience, a journey template, the CRM connection and a report they understand. Whether you go on to run it for them, and what you charge, is between you and them — Mercury takes no cut of your fees.
Can I lose the certification?
It is reviewed every twelve months against the work you have shipped. It is withdrawn early only for the things you would expect: running clients' senders outside their limits, misrepresenting Mercury, or a client complaint we cannot resolve with you.
